Apply for a Grant

The Grose Family Foundation (GFF) annually awards three needs-based grants of between $5000 and $12,000 per year to organizations actively engaged in efforts to improve the emotional, spiritual, and physical lives of people and their communities.

The GFF accepts grant applications between January 30th and March 31st of each calendar year, with awards announced by September 1st of that same year.

To apply, please download the form, complete the application and the checklist, and then email all requested information to info@grosefamilyfoundation.org. Applications must be received before or on March 31st of each year.

Grant Guidelines:

  • Only 501(c)3 organizations may apply

  • The GFF will not consider incomplete applications

  • All applications must be received by March 31st via email (info@grosefamilyfoundation.org) to be considered.

Application checklist:

Download the GFF Grant Application Form, open it, fill it in, then save a copy to your computer before emailing your submission. You can use MSWord or any PDF filler application.

Your complete application will include the following items:

  • A completed application form (see link at the bottom of the page.)

  • Anticipated project timeline

  • Project budget (use the GFF budget table provided with this application)

  • Append any contractor budgets, if necessary

  • A minimum of two (2) letters of support from members of the impacted community (outside that of the applying organization) describing why the community wants this project and what the community hopes to gain.

  • A copy of the applying organization’s tax-exempt letter from the US Internal Revenue Service showing the organization’s status as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Information for Awardees:

The GFF requires all awardees to generate a final report at the end of the grant project. We will provide each awardee with guidelines for reporting outcomes that will be specific to their particular project and grant term. These guidelines will include GFF requirements for publicity and grant administration.
